 I love to snuggle with my Snoogle December 29, 2008
My hubby bought me this pillow for Christmas and I am absolutely loving it!!! I am in my 6th month of pregnancy and have been experiencing discomfort in my hips and lower back when laying on my side...After one night with my Snoogle the discomfort was reduced by half and after the second night I woke up with no discomfort AT ALL!!! I am smitten with my Snoogle and love that it doesn't take up half the bed and still allows for that much needed closeness with my husband as well!!!

I was expecting great things from the Snoogle based on reviews from friends and while it didn't necessarily disappoint, it wasn't as great as expected. However, I am about 8mos pregnant so at this point I think it would take a miracle to get me a good nights sleep. All in all, it is helpful and I would buy it again if I had it to do over.

Initially, I bought a Snoogle at my local discount baby store because the price was cheaper than many other places. When I got home, I realized that it did not come with a removable cover. Very annoying! I ended up returning that pillow and buying the more expensive version with the cover at Amazon. Since about halfway through my pregnancy, I have relied on this pillow to help me sleep in a position that is safe for both me and my unborn child. I have always been a back sleeper and I was having trouble staying on my side but not any more. Typically, I will go to bed on my left side with the Snoogle cradling my back and after my bathroom break in the middle of the night, I will switch to my right side and have the pillow support my stomach. It is very comfortable and much easier than sleeping with numerous smaller pillows.

In my sixth month of pregnancy, I started having a lot of trouble sleeping. My hips hurt, and I could never manage to find a way to keep from rolling onto my back. I had said earlier that I was not going to order a pillow specifically for sleeping during pregnancy, mostly because they all seemed to cost so much. But, I reached the point of desperation, and suddenly the Snoogle seemed like a bargain :) I would have paid almost any amount of money to not hurt at night. I chose the Snoogle because I had heard so many good things about them, both on Amazon.com and some pregnancy chat boards. When it arrived, it took me a few nights of experimenting with positioning, but now I don't know how in the world I slept without it for so long! I don't plan on ever sleeping without it again, pregnant or not!
Successfully snoogled November 30, 2008
The snoogle is a must have for expectant couples, particularly for those in which the wife is a stomach sleeper. Mine loves it! My wife needed a way to transition to her side and not take up half the bed with extra pillows. This fit the bill, and while it cuts off our body contact significantly, at least I don't end up sleeping in the guest bed. Only down side is that is tough to figure out how to position the bottom arm and leg so that they are comfortable and don't fall asleep. The models in the photos seem not to have a second arm! Height was not an issue and she is fairly petite at 5'2".
