Could not have lived without this! January 6, 2009 This has to be hands down the best pregnancy investment I made. At about 17 weeks my hips, back and legs began aching due to the expanding weight in the middle- by the third trimester I was taking this with me on vacation! It is a huge pillow- but its size is not for naught- it helps you sleep even when you are so uncomfortable you have to reposition yourself 100 times a night- but you don't have to reposition a rigged "pillow fortress"- I wish I had this during my 1st pregnancy. This pillow has it all. The only downfall is that now that my baby is 2 months old it is hard to get rid of! It is that comfortable!
Great Pregnancy Pillow!!! December 31, 2008 I got this pillow early on in my first trimester when sleeping was already an issue. Now I am almost at the end of my pregnancy (36 weeks) and I have used it nearly the entire time. Here is my take on those who were seriously unhappy with this product, you're pregnant and uncomfortable and nothing is going to get you sleeping like you did before being pregnant. I still have trouble getting a great night of sleep, but the pillow really helps. It is very large and would be ideal for a king size bed over my queen size, but it still works. It helps to have an understanding husband who doesn't mind losing some of his bed space. I also use a regular bed pillow with this and that helps me move into a more comfortable position and get extra support where needed. It has not lost its shape at all and continues to add lots of support for my growing belly. I have used it with the curve at the top and find that works best for me and is easier to move around with than having the u shape by my legs. I also have used it with the two ends at my head, but only for shorter naps or to read. The cons on this are that the pillowcase isn't the highest quality fabric and felt uncomfortable compared to my nice sheets. So, I had my mother-in-law sew another pillowcase from h
the pillow that stole the entire bed! December 21, 2008 I do like this pillow but it takes up a lot more room than you'd think, however I don't wake up with back pain anymore. the fabric cover COULD be softer but other than that I am very happy
My wife loves it! December 20, 2008 This is a great product. My wife was having so much trouble getting and staying comfortable enough to sleep nights. We got the Leachco Back n Belly and she uses it all the time, whether laying down for the night or taking an afternoon nap. The only con is that it makes sleeping in the same queen-sized bed a little awkward and it takes some finagling to get close to each other around it. But I sleep better knowing she does too.
Great Support but too much stuffing at head December 20, 2008 This pillow provides great support for the back. The only downside is that there was too much stuffing at the head region, which of course is personal preference. So I had to cut it open to take out a bag of stuffing at the head area and now it is great. The pillow cover also fits very snug and initially cut into my shoulder. (This could be b/c I am 5'9".) So, along with taking stuffing out, I also had to tweak the pillow cover. (Tweak for me mean cutting slits into it so that it didn't cut into me. Yes, this may sound like a lot of work, although I would do it all again b/c it is so comfortable now!
