 STAY CLEAR......DON'T BE FOOLED!!!!! February 11, 2008

I would have rated this less than one star if I could have!!!
I would like to share my story of disappointment with you versus a story of success. I tried the make-up on the promise of a money back guarantee that I thought would be excellent if I didn't like or couldn't use the product. When the make-up broke me out and I returned the product expecting to get reimbursed for the full purchase price.....that is when I was fooled. I was credited the first payment of 39.98 minus 10.00 for what was called shipping and handling. Well, the part that bothers me about this is that I paid the return shipping and handling which was only $6.20. They guarantee the make-up with a lie. It couldn't have cost them more than it cost me to ship the product!!!!!! The $6.20 was priority mail with a tracer, so thet probably didn't pay as much as I did to send it.
Bottom line is that the product is not what they advertise. It did break me out and the coverage was not nearly as good as Merle Norman powder foundation, plus the so-called guarantee is BULL! I will tell everyone I know to stear clear of this product and promise!

I have been using Bare Escentuals Bare Minerals for about two years now, and I would never go back to any other kind of foundation for my skin. My skin (normally combination, over 40) has actually improved in appearance during the time I've been using this product. It takes some getting used to, because it's slightly different to apply than other types of foundation, but it's worth the learning curve for sure. Highly recommend.

This product does not have a good coverage if a fondation is not used before applying. Plus, it is too small in size for the price. Would not purchase this product again.

Bare Escentuals multi-tasking face in Well Rested is a miracle worker. It can be used to conceal under eye circles, brighten the eye area prior to using your eyeshadow, and covers blemishes (acne, dark spots, sprder veins, etc.) wonderfully. I had previously used Bisque but the Well Rested works much better for me. I am of a medium to medium-light complexion. Great product !

I am a huge fan of the Bare Escentuals line. Their foundation and powder are great. Their eyeshadows are beyond fabulous. Their brushes are superb. But their version of concealer ... eh. I'm not a fan.
A few people had warned me off the Bare Escentuals line because it's all powder and they felt it really settled in any wrinkles and made your skin look older. I tried it and I didn't experience that at all with the foundation and powder. But with the concealer, a very big YES. I have the Bisque and while I think it works very well on blemishes on my cheeks, chin or forehead, when applied under my eyes (where I need the most help), it absolutely highlights every wrinkle making me look worse, not better. I still recommend the line as a whole, but find a different concealer.
