Love this bag! January 3, 2009 This is a great lunch bag. I feel that it is great for kids or adults. The only downside is that, although it is very large, I have to lay down my Sigg water bottle inside. Other than that, it is very roomy and fits lots of food!
BEST Lunch bag! December 22, 2008 I have had my fair share of lunch bags and this one is the best yet! And it's washable! No more messes/stains. The material is great, so that you can place several different size containers or ziplock bags and it all still fits! (It hold much more then you'd think) Plus, place an ice pack in there and keep your lunch cold for hours!! And it is sturdy! I put it in my cluttered work frig all the time and it still remains durable, not to mention that I have received lots of compliments! (It is pricey, but in my opinion well worth every penny.)
Works great. November 22, 2008 I carry this product to work 5 days a week with my lunch and it works great. It also holds a lot of stuff, and holds temperature well.
Slick Spacious Lunch Bag November 6, 2008 Bought this to replace my lunch bag that was a few years old. Have had it for about a month now. Has a great design and is very spacious (even more space than I need).
I am not carrying it to keep the items insulated. Though I doubt it will keep anything warm/cold. Bag is flexible, yet firm.
Final word: love it, love it, love it....
Spacious and accomodating October 29, 2008 I bring dinner, lunch and snacks to work in plastic containers. All three meals fit into the Gourmet Getaway.
Its about 9" from the base to the top of the zipper (when laid flat). It measures 12 inches across the widest part (also when laid flat), and 7" deep (by measuring across the bottom). The depth narrows at the zipper. Because of the fabric, it fits itself around many sizes and shapes of containers.
It provides enough insulation to keep things cool with a small ice pack for a couple hours. I haven't tested it for longer than that. But I wouldn't expect it to keep things as cool cooped up in the car on a sunny day.
I love that its machine washable and stores flat.
I have one compaint: there's no shoulder strap.
