Not good October 14, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
The watering balls did not work at all for me. I tried them in several different pots with no luck. The only time my plants were watered is when I lifted the balls out of the dirt. I had hoped that at least they would be decorations in the pots, put they are very heavy.
Water anyone? June 27, 2008 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
These things do exactly what they are supposed to do and look great doing it. We have had everyone who has seen them make a comment about how cool they look. They are easy to fill, keep the plant watered and nice to look at.
Watering Balls Review June 9, 2008 1 out of 11 found this review helpful
I sent the product back! They're very nice looking but I live in a windy area and I was going to use them in my hanging plants outside and I was afraid they would break.
Glass Watering Ball, Mar. 2008 April 4, 2008 13 out of 13 found this review helpful
This product held sufficient water to feed two plants in 8" pots for two weeks. Climate was controlled by lowering indoor temp. Might not serve as well in outdoor windy conditions. Product seems fragile, having long glass tube. I consider it a good value. It served my purpose. AMK, Hamburg, NY
Worked but needed both for my one plant February 26, 2008 20 out of 20 found this review helpful
I ordered these to water my plant in the office while I'm away during the weekends. I needed to use both of them to sufficiently water my large (3ft.) peace lily. I did drop one of them and it broke, so I'm finding that just using one is not enough to keep the whole plant happy. I'm looking for alternatives that are maybe not so breakable, since I'm a bit of a klutz! They are kind of hard to fill and when dirt gets stuck in the end it takes some work to get it out. If I knew I wouldn't break it, I would probably order them again because they work okay and look pretty in the plant.
