5 out of 5 stars Omron Pedometer is one of the best for what I need.   November 22, 2008
This model of the Omron pedometer suits my needs exceptionally well. I had one that I lost, and wanted to replace it with the same model. Not only does it eliminate counting the "inadvertent" steps (walking across the room, wasling from the desk to the light switch, etc.), it keeps the current day and 7 previous days in memory. You can wear it in a number of places on your waistband or pocket, and the count is exceptionally accurate. If you only need to track steps taken, this is a fantastic model.

5 out of 5 stars Works great. Very easy to use and very accurate.   November 11, 2008
Great product. The cheapy ones are not for anyone serious. This device is easy to use and keeps a daily record. The clip works well on anything I wear.

5 out of 5 stars Good Basic with extras   November 10, 2008
I bought this pedometer based on the other reviews. After using it for a month I have to say I have been very pleased with it. It keeps 7 days of steps, which is nice since I do not always remember to record my steps every day. It also has a clock, which is nice for those of us who have problems wearing watches (something about my chemistry or electrical charge- I can kill a watch after just a month of wearing them, even expensive watches). It is dead on as far as actually recording steps. I have tested it time and time again and I have yet to be disappointed. A warning on reading the steps, it will start recording after the first 4 seconds of movements to avoid false readings. That threw me off at first until I read the directions again and found out that was normal. It is also very sturdy, since I have dropped it at least 4 times with no problems. I have had it slip off maybe 3 times, and I wear it everyday. This problem is easily solved. On the top of the clip is a small hole. Just thread a piece of string through the hole, tie it in a knot with some of the string hanging off in a loop and pin to your waistband with a safety pin. It cost about 10 cents and is less bulky then the leashes they sale.

cons:
*bulky- it stick out more then I would like under my shirt.
*no calorie counter- oh well, still a great pedometer.
*awkward to read- the digital part faces out, so it is hard to look down and read how many steps you have taken at any given time. It is not enough to cause problems, it is just a quirk of mine.

The only thing I really do not like is its bulk. It is about as thick as Sharpie marker cap. I ordered another, thinner pedometer, but I will still use this one on occasion when my shirt is tucked in.

The Omron HJ-150 is by far the best pedometer I have purchased and the easiest to use. I wear it all the time.

4 out of 5 stars Pedometer   October 28, 2008
Works . Fairly accurate. I got it for my wife, but she forgets to wear it. If mine breaks I'll use this one. I like the time feature and the 7 day look back.
