 No more blood pressure worries January 6, 2009
This Blood pressure checker is excellent. It keeps track of recent tests and also does a 3 check average. For the price it's a great buy.
 OMRON HEM-780 Automatic blood pressure monitor December 30, 2008
I have tried a Life Source blood pressure monitor and always get wide range of results. But with the Omron HEM-780 the reading is not that far apart.
Any new user will have no problem using this instrument.
I will surely recommend this product to my family and friends. But I am not sure this is available here in the Philippines.
 GOT A LEMON December 23, 2008
I read through lots of Amazon reviews for blood pressure monitors before buying the Omron HEM-780. It had many great reviews and extra features I wanted, like the stroke alert and memory storage for two people, which I needed to record both left and right arm pressure. Unfortunately, I seem to have gotten a lemon. I became alarmed when my blood pressure measured even higher than at the doctor's office. I brought the Omron to my next doctor appointment and discovered the Omron was consistently 20 points higher on both systolic and diastolic measurement than accurate. With so many good reviews, I can only assume this was just a bad unit. Amazon made the return easy and when I called Omron to tell them my experience, they had two people call me to get details on the problem. They told me this was highly unusual and would pull the machine for testing when it was returned. I still would buy an Omron product, but I would definitely check the accuracy with a doctor after buying it.

Our physcian recommended Omron as the best. We were using another brand,but the physcian felt that for accuracy and reliability for monitoring purposes this was superior.
We are happy with it knowing that we no longer need to be concerned with the readings.
Accurate December 21, 2008
Checked monitor several times against traditional blood pressure cuff with auscultation of blood pressure and this one is very accurate. Easy to apply blood pressure cuff. I like the three reading average. Price was awesome. Originally purchased another type for same price and it was not accurate at all and entire unit was very cheaply made. This product is highly recommended.
