Avon plays by their own rules. Your order might get shipped, it might not!! Its sellers like this that give Amazon a bad name

WOW so many people who feel Avon was out of line to not send them FREE PRODUCT.
So you give a bad review for a good product not based on you ever using this product but because you tried to rip Avon off and they were able to catch some of the orders and not send them you think they are in the wrong??
WOW no wonder such things are wrong out there today.
So you tried to slip in an order that you KNEW was a mistake. THE OFFER WAS BUY ONE GET ONE HALF OFF. Supposed to be TWO FOR $12 and OBVIOUSLY YOU ALL KNEW THIS or why else did you order 4 or more... when you tried for 2 it did it right .. the $12
or when you did 5 it would charge correctly
so someone figured out as long as you did orders with even numbers it would bring the total to zero
everyone KNEW this was a mistake. GET OVER YOURSELVES!!
This is a great product that we have used for years. Works great and easy on the skin.
Avon is a good company and Amazon service can not be beat you all know it why else do you try to constantly try to get the price mistakes in and cheat them.
Keep it up and they will change some of their policies because of people trying to get things for FREE and when they don't get it they demand some kind of compensation .
You all knew it based on where you found the "deal" you KNEW it was a chance they would catch the mistake you are just mad that your orders got passed over and some snuck through either before they figured out the glitch or before Avon ran out.
WOW so amazing how much so many on here feel they were "wronged" no wonder so many young kids out there these days act this way.
This bug spray works great !!
When is the last time you were at Target or your local grocery store and something was marked wrong you got it for that??
Price mistakes happen it is just that online is easier to take advantage of them than a brick/mortor store.
WE ARE NOT ENTITLED TO GET THIS PRODUCT FOR FREE.
WAS NOT THE INTENT OF THE PROMO. WAS A GLITCH AT AMAZON AND ALL BARGAIN HUNTERS KNEW IT.

I placed an order on Amazon on the morning of June 27th 2008 for 4 cans of Amazon Skin so soft Guard Plus And Avon Skin So Soft Gentle Breeze Sun Screen SPF 30
They were supposed to be free! I got a cancellation notice and then a letter early this morning stating that the order I placed for 4 of ea for myself and 4 of the spray for my mother would NOT be honored! HOW CAN AMAZON AND AVON DO THIS WHEN THEY CLEARLY HONORED SOME AND IN ONE CASE EVEN REFUNDED MORE THEN WHAT THE PERSON PAID FOR IT!
THIS IS UTTERLY REDICULOUS!!! I FEEL THAT THIS SHOULD BE HONORED! WHY SHOULD SOME GET IT FOR FREE AND OTHERS NOT HAVE TO PAY OR BE REFUNDED MORE THEN THEY ACTUALLY PAID????

"10 spray cans of the bug spray arrived USPS today. 10 bottles of the sunscreen version on the way."
"got my 4 sunscreen and 4 bug spay today......sweet. good for the upcoming 4th trip "

Disappointing July 3, 2008

I am very disappointed with Avon and Amazon for cancelling my order with no explanation. I purchased this product for use on July 4th weekend instead of my usual insecticide spray because of the offering of this product put on by Amazon and Avon which would have allowed trying it for free. Many companies will offer free product for trial so this did not seem unusual when the order ended with a zero balance. My e-mail arrived 7/03/08 stating it had been cancelled. No explanation or apologies or correction with further assistance. Very poor customer service on the part of both establishments. I will be very hesitant to order anything that is needed for a specific event or time from these companies even though my previous purchases through many businesses on Amazon have arrived within a no more than a weeks time with most all purchases. Buyer beware of promotions from Avon!!
