Works well January 6, 2009 I only use it on infrequently. It is not as close as a razor but I did not expect it to be. Seems to hold its charge for at least a couple of weeks. I had an older version which I liked better. I found this unit to be a little large and as such harder to manuver. I don't think I would like this unit if I used it every day. The heads do not float which I think also makes it a little harder to use.
I purchased this model because I can use it in the shower.
Great Cost/Benefit ratio January 6, 2009 The machine works as advertised. The only thing that you might want to change is the bag that comes with it (it doesn't hold the machine very well). Apart from that, I can't say anything except that I'm a very satisfied customer.
Like the option wet/dry January 6, 2009 The shaving head is a little smaller than my previous razor, but the wet/dry option is great.
Waste of money and and is very painful January 4, 2009 I have tried it twice already Dry and Wet(with Shaving Gel), and both shaves have been very painful. At this moment I have major skin burns and cuts on my chin. Had to go back and do the neckline using my conventional rajor. Its more like buying pain .. no matter how good a deal it is.
Decent performance at a low price December 28, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This shaver is a great value at the sale price. Maybe not so great at list price.
My beard is coarse and wiry, with medium thickness and with 2 days growth this unit gave a comfortable if not super close shave (I use it dry). But I have yet to find an electric that shaves as close as a blade. It does require several passes to get all of the hairs so the 3 minute shave time turns into about 5 or 6 which eats into the already short battery life.
I have not experienced any of the tearing or cutting that some reviewers describe. In fact, this unit is one of the more comfortable electrics I have used compared to more expensive Norelco rotary, Braun and older Panasonic models.
