Works as advertised December 29, 2008 I waited two months from purchase because a number of people said the item stopped working the next day or shortly thereafter. I've been using it daily for two months now and it works like a champ; no issues whatsoever!
Did not work! December 24, 2008 This product did not work. I was quickly sent a replacement, but That one did not work either. So I returned both and bought something else. The service was good.
Bad Experience December 14, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
The product description doesn't make it clear that this product only plugs into 3 prong outlets and also is made for 3 pronged cords to be plugged into it. I had a fan I wanted to control by remote but was unable to for before mentioned reasons. Also, the little piece of plastic that covers the batteries broke very easily when I tried to place batteries inside of it. It was not well made.
Great Item November 22, 2008 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
I bought this for use as a remote on/off switch for a slot car track. I have the power supply plugged into a darkroom timer, and then plugged into the switch. Works great, good quality, even comes with an extra battery. Simple operation.
Does JUST what it says it will August 28, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This remote control power outlet is PERFECT for those areas in your home where it's inconvenient to manually turn off the appliance, such as lamps, etc.
Very good for those with mobility issues.
We also used it to play a (harmless) prank on a co-worker. She thought her fan was possessed. Hilarity ensued.
