 Great Shoes, well worth the price January 6, 2009
I bought these shoes for my husband for Christmas. He loves them!! He says they are very comfortable. So then I bought a pair for each of my grandsons, they wear them all the time. Got a great shoe, for a very good price. What more could you ask for?

Very nice, comfortable shoes. True to size and look pretty durable. I got them on sale really cheap, less than $20. Only problem I had is the laces are hard to keep tied, that's the reason I took off a star. Not really hiking shoes, more of a casual shoe. I liked them so much I ordered another pair while they were still on sale! One note, I have tried Columbia customer service before with another pair of their shoes and it wasn't very good. They were suppose to send me some new laces for a pair a shoes that the laces broke within a week, but I never got them. No big deal that time as laces were only a couple of bucks, but what if it were a bigger problem.....

This is a great shoe, very comfortable, snug ankle collar for support and comfortable arch support. They are also relatively light for such a rugged shoe.

Very Comfortable Good Looking Pair of Shoes November 29, 2008
I bought this pair of shoes based on the look, price, & name. I had heard good things about Columbia. The price was fairly good. I am very happy with the shoes. They are very comfortable! No long days working the shoe in - good the first day. The look is nice - good to where almost anywhere.
The con would be the sole. They have a rugged sole that looks & feels good at first. But they get a bit slippery on wet floors. Walking into a store on a rainy day you find the tile floors slippery. This is not just at one store. It has happened to me a number of places. Never had this on my old shoes.
It is a shame Amazon did away with the price guarantee. The day after I bought these the price was cut. They would not refund the difference. I was told I had to reorder them & return the pair I was getting. For $8 is was not worth it. Love Amazon but this made me pause about their policies.
