3 out of 5 stars Poor Quality Control   January 6, 2009
Ordered two. Got Two.- One Perfect. Other Leaked. (small pin hole at base, no dents). Better quality control needed.

4 out of 5 stars Plastic Free! Yeah!   December 24, 2008
A good way to keep track of your water intake. A little wide to hold if you have small hands. I like the screw cap to drink from.
Great way to rid of the plastic!

4 out of 5 stars Solid   December 11, 2008
This water bottle does what it is supposed to. You want to put the cap on tightly, but if you do it does not leak. Not fancy and that is a good thing.

5 out of 5 stars High Quality and BPA free   November 16, 2008
This is an excellent little canteen. It's made from high quality stainless steel so it's resistant to corrosion and great at keeping your drink cool. The cap is also stainless steel covered with a plastic bit for strapping a carabiner or sting to.

Another advantage of the stainless steel is that it is BPA free, a chemical that is involved in the production of certain plastics such as polycarbonate bottles like Nalgene. A disadvantage of the stainless steel is that it scratches and dents more easily. It can also crack under really intense pressure, whereas the polycarbonate bottles can be run over by a car and still not breach. However, I don't think I'll be seeing that kind of damage to my canteen ever.

I also like the taste of water from a stainless container. I don't know if that's purely psychological or not, but I suppose it's the difference from drinking beer from a can or a bottle.
