As thin as they are, they are still the warmest boots I've ever owned. They work equally well in deep snow as they do in rain. I have a wide foot and they pinched a bit over the top when new, but they broke in quickly for nearly a custom fit. bogs   December 17, 2008 Great boot for going out without any socks on. The problem I had was I use them for Ice Fishing and when there is no snow you slip and slide everywhere!! Not one off the best things to be doing on th ice without a helmet!
