Well, this is a good neck protector.
You will probably get hit on your neck very few times, but if you do, this protector does its job well.
Comfortable and effective August 20, 2008
Let's not mince words - getting shot in the neck hurts. A lot. It will still hurt with this on, but it will hurt a lot less and you'll avoid those neck welts that make people wonder what you do when you get out of work (trust me on that one). It's comfortable enough that you'll forget you're wearing it. If you don't have a high-collar jersey, this is a must.

I got this and while it is very comfortable to wear, it is really thin and will provide only minimal protection of a neck shot. Maybe this the way it is suppose to be but I still keep my head tucked in during engagements in paintball.
Solid neck protector July 28, 2008
This is good neck protector for paintball. helps take the neck shots. For me, I no longer get a welt and it doesn't hurt as bad when I get hit there. Well worth the cost.
