Play in the woods? Buy an A-5 December 12, 2008 There's not much I can say about the A-5 that isn't praise. It's easy to maintain, it's durable, it's customizable and it works amazingly well. It's good right out of the box, and a vast array of optional accessories make it even better. While not quick enough for the speedball player, it is the king of the woods and, put simply, is the best value in paintball.
THIS GUN IS THE S@#* September 24, 2008 THIS GUN IS THE BEST IT HURTS OTHER PEOPLE WHEN YOU SHOOT IT. IT SHOOTS FAST ITS A GREAT BEGINNER GUN OR EVEN GREAT FOR A VETRAN ITS ALL AROUND THE BEST GUN OUT OF THE PACKAGE LOVE IT MY BROTHER WAS USING A 98 CUSTOM AND SWITCHED OVER AND BOUGHT THE A5 I BOUGHT MINE AT DICKS SPORTING GOODS BUT IM SURE THERE ALL THE SAME OVERALL 5 STARS
Painting has never been more fun! September 2, 2008 What a great marker! I've used a few different ones in the past but my kids finally talked me into buying some new markers. So off I went...and did my homework. The pros I read far surpassed any of the cons I came across so I figured what the heck, go for it. I purchased 3 that day.
It's darn near bullet proof and you'll quit long before it does. The Cyclone feed is OUTSTANDING. None of us have chopped a ball yet. Some of our friends seem to spend way too much time extracting goo from their barrels. ROFL Heck, any time spent getting paint oit of the barrel is too much time. I'd rather spend a little extra and have reliabilty...and let's face it...there are very few things quite as satisfying as gogging a friend while they're trying to figure out why they haven't hit YOU yet. ;-)
All in all a great piece of kit. If you need more accuracy though, a new barrel should be high on you list. I replaced mine as did my eldest son and we've both been quite happy. OTOH, my youngest still has the stock barrel, at least for now, and hasn't been too troubled by that fact. The beauty is that because it doesn't jam, chop, or dribble balls it's not a problem to send an extra one or two downfield. So even if the first one doesn't find the target, the second or third should be right on the money.
I also added a collapsible stock and shroud and handle...and...well, let's just say it pretty much looks like an M16 now. ;-) Hey, even us old guys(I'm 45) want our markers to look cool. Doesn't mean you'll win, but at least you'll look good doing it. ;-)
One last thing... Both my boys have Response Triggers and LOVE 'EM. I now have the E-Grip and it's worth EVERY penny!
Best gun 4 ANYONE June 13, 2008 This gun is amazing i got it 2 replace my old spyder sonic. Its is simply devastating!!!. I tricked it out with a 14'inch barrel (flatline barrels are inaccurate) and it is the most amazing thing. Only down side is the cyclone feed hopper system uses CO2 so u need a 20-32 oz tank min. It is also pretty robust its never jammed before and has taken several direct hits its just fine.
P.S. my name isnt L lauer

If you play woods-ball or scenario's the A-5 is hard to beat. In stock configuration it is highly dependable. It can be modified to look like anything you want other than a chrome plated speed-ball marker. The rate of fire is lower than many of the popular speed-ball markers and it is the loudest marker that I have used. If you want a marker that is more like a real rifle the A-5 is it. I have had mine for 3 years with no problems.
