I really enjoy my new watch. It was no problem getting it set to the correct time zone. I do some mechanical work and feel that it is a very rugged watch which can stand some abuse.
Great watch January 6, 2009
Really like this watch. It's great to have it reset itself everyday so you always have the correct time. I also use the stop watch feature a lot and find it easy to use. I also appreciate that you can set it to display time in 24 hour format as that's what I use in my job. The solar battery works terrific. Only downside I can come up with is the watches weight. It is a little heavy, but I still would recommend it.

Received my watch a week ago and love it! I printed the manual from the Casio web site....it's easier to read. I initially placed the watch under a desk lamp for about 4 hours and it has never gone below the mid charge. In fact, I deceided to place it on the night stand beside the bed and it goes to sleep and is still fully charged in the morning. I live in southern New Jersey and the Atomic time set works every night, even on the night stand, about 5 feet from a window that faces south.
The watch has many bells and whistles, however the alarm is useless. Unless mine is defective, the watch is so well sealed that the beep is almost inaudible and I shure wouldn't depend on it to wake me up or signal an important appointment. The band is a bit difficult to remove links but it can be done. My wrist is small and I had to remove a few links but it fits fine now and looks great.

Over 12 years ago I purchased a Casio G-force model CW-300, and except for the need to replace the solar battery (for $32.00, including postage, installed directly by a Casio service center) after about 10 years of use, it has worked flawlessly despite being knocked around and immersed many times. The only reason I needed to replace the watch was that it had a plastic band that finally broke, and the part is not available any more. Repairing it probably would have cost almost as much as buying a replacement, and I also wanted to get a second, dressier watch anyway. My new watch has a good-looking stainless steel band that was easy to shorten, using a small eyeglass screwdriver. Its functions are identical to my older watch. One of the most convenient features is the ability to instantly switch between time zones when traveling. The hourly and alarm chimes are also useful, as is the automatic light that briefly illuminates the face when it is dark, if you simply twist your wrist up. If my experience with its earlier clone is any measure, I expect the best from my new G-Shock. It looks great and I no longer have need for a second watch.

Definitively the photos do not show what really it is east Clock, at the outset one has the sensation that is great and heavy, but with the use you are accustomed, is very pretty, solid and the combination of colors between silver plating, gray and chromium plating makes very showy, is easy to program, the solar cell does that the clock reaches its principle loads in a matter of minutes when is put directly to the sun, the wave receptor works very well by the nights, I recommend much for which they like a sport and elegant style simultaneously.

Definitivamente las fotos no muestran lo que realmente es este Reloj, al principio uno tiene la sensacion que es grande y pesado, pero con el uso te acostumbras, es muy lindo, solido y la combinacion de colores entre plateado, gris y cromado lo hace muy vistoso, es facil de programar, las celda solar hace que el reloj alcance su maxima carga en cuestion de minutos cuando es puesto directamente al sol,la sinconizacion atomica, funciona muy bien, lo recomiendo mucho para aquellos que les gusta un estilo deportivo y elegante a la vez.
