 Great little motivator! January 8, 2009
Got this about a year and a half ago, and just put in the third new battery. It ran about 8 months on that last one. This is a sturdy pedometer..I have dropped it several times to no ill effect. It is easy to read on the go, and accurate. Does anyone know a good source for batteries? I paid $8.00 at the watch outlet near us. Happy walking, this one is the best!

Great pedometer. I keep on checking on its accuracy and it is 98% accurate (well, more like 99%.). Only 1 or 2 steps off in 500, which is pretty accurate.

The Omron has a nice display, easy to read and understand. Easy to set up and follow the directions. My 75-year-old mom loves it, she's tried others but found them too complicated.

This is everything I want it to be. The problem is really user related. It is great that it works inside the pocket but it is so easy to forget to take the pedometer out of your pocket before we put our pants in the laundry. It sometimes takes a few washings without a problem but eventually, they fail. What does it mean when you put a battery inside a hot dryer? Nothing has happened so far but I wonder about it. I have replaced four pedometers so far. Otherwise, it's a great incentive and reliable so I continue to replace it.

I have had my Omron pedometer for over 4 years. I bought this one for a friend. These pedometers are reliable and uncanningly accurate. You will be 100% satisfied with this. I have used mine virtually everyday and it has helped keep me focused on doing a 3.2 mile walk almost everyday for over four years. You cannot go wrong in purchasing this pedometer!!!
