We used this in the bedroom during shoulder seasons. With two dogs in the bedroom, air quality was poor. By using this fan I was able to bring fresh air in and exhaust dander and dust.
We set the temperature on the fan and set on fan to supply and one to exhaust. The fan comes on when the room temp is warm from all the body heat, then shuts off when the room cools down. What a great feature! No more freezing in the middle of the night.
Quality wise, this unit has been running for about 1 year with no problems at all.

Window Fan
For the price, this window fan is a great buy. I purchased this second unit to replace the same model which endured a lot of use. It's fairly quite for the amount of air it moves. A window fan is a great way to save money on your electric bill. I never use my air conditioner, even during the summer months.

Bought this fan and after just a week one of the fans started to smell and stopped working.This fan worked great for almost a week, so if you only need a fan for one week or less this is the one for you.

I love these fans so much, I've purchased five! We live in San Diego, so don't need to use the AC, so these guys fit right in the window and bring in the cool night air. The only drawback is if you have narrow window ledges: it won't fit very well, but you can use the accordion pull-outs to help adjust. Luckily our home is older and our ledges are wide. We did have a very windy day recently and the fan blew out of the window onto the hard floor below. The plastic cracked a bit, but the fan still runs like a top! I highly recommend this brand. I've also used the exhaust feature when the kitchen grill got smoky and it cleared the room quickly.
