2 out of 5 stars Super fun - super disappointing   January 7, 2009
The giga ball was the only thing my child was interested in for Christmas. Since we only do 1 Santa gift and a stocking, we hoped it would live up to her expectations. I think it has for her, but the adults in the family are a bit annoyed. When pumping up the ball, I noticed an unsealed seam on one of the baffles. That one small section would not blow up at all but the rest did, so I turned it over and put the bow on the blown up section. She was so excited and LOVED playing in the ball. Unfortunately, baffles started blowing out all over the place on the very first day! There was one obvious puncture that was easily repaired with gorilla tape, but the seams of the baffles keep coming apart and are not repairable (at least not by me). She continues to insist on using the ball (by the way she weighs 38 lbs. so I'm surprised it's not holding up a little longer), so we frantically pump it up and let her go down the hill once then start all over again. She is completely opposed to returning it to the north pole for another. Great idea, but needs a better design (or seam sealer) and a better repair kit.

4 out of 5 stars Daughter loves it!   January 6, 2009
My daughter, who is 10 now, has asked for this for Christmas for several years now and I would never buy it because I didn't think it would be durable. Her and her friends have played with it indoors non-stop since Christmas. A few of the clear bubbles have deflated, but I have not checked to see why - if it is a hole in the plastic or what the problem is.

3 out of 5 stars Giga Ball   January 6, 2009
This ball is huge and takes up a lot of space inside. Also blowing it up presents some problem, so I would definitely get the pump that comes with it. Overall makes a great wow factor, but should be used primarily outside and unless you live in Ca. or Fl, kinda out of question for the Christmas season.

5 out of 5 stars Great Fun.   January 6, 2009
This has been a great toy for my kids. We have a huge playroom, and it has only been used inside, so there hasn't been any problems of punctures to it. It is as fun to roll as it is to ride in it. My 10 nieces and nephews, plus my kids have a "ball" with it.

1 out of 5 stars Giga Ball is a total waste of money.   December 27, 2008
I bought this toy (51" Giga Ball)for my 3 children for Christmas. I didn't actually inflate it until the day after Christmas. Here it is 2 days after Christmas and all of the clear sections on the ball are popped and deflated. Several of them popped just while being inflated. My daughter says it doesn't matter if you inflate it by mouth or compresser, it still pops and deflates. This toy cost me about $60 and it will probably last another few days before it goes into the trash......It is fun but is not worth $60, and it isn't durable AT ALL. It was used on grass, after the yard was carefully cleared of debris, and it still pops....TOTAL WASTE OF MONEY!
