Big Kid Heely skate shoe January 6, 2009
My 8 year old daughter got these for Christmas. She loves them. They feel a little more snug than her regular tennis shoes (I think it is neccessary for support). She caught on to the feel of them quickly. We just had to develop guidelines on when it is alright to roll around and when she should make sure she only walks in them. The wheels do come out.

Not very happy with this purchase! I received the Heelys wrapped them up for christmas and my daughter opened them and was VERY excited. Went to try them on and she could not get the one shoe on! Went and looked at sizes and we received 1 shoe size 13 and 1 shoe size 3. I called the customer service line on the packing sheet and she told me that they were completely out of stock and that she was going to call you Amazon to refund my money which I have not heard a thing from Amazon about my refund.

I had checked local stores for the Heely shoes and they looked used and the boxes well worn. I came to Amazon and got a great deal in price and looks. Thanks Amazon

My daughter loves her Heeley's. I do have to agree that the sizing problem is a bit difficult when you're trying to buy them as gifts. I had to buy a size 4 and she usually only wears a 1 1/2. Other than the sizing issue I think they're great!!
