Such a Good Volleyball that it was Stolen From Me December 13, 2008 I belong to a recreational volleyball league and decided to invest some money on a REALLY good volleyball. Seriously, before I bought this I had no understanding of cost concerning a good volleyball.
Having paid nearly $50 for this, I was really hopeful that I would love it (as would my teammates). When it arrived it was a little under-inflated but it was great-- the leather was soft and no matter how hard I hit the ball on my hand, my arm didn't hurt too much.
Yes, this ball was so great that it was STOLEN from me. I don't know who the jerk is but I hope it was worth it ("Dear V-all Pilferer: YOU SUCK"). Despite having lost the ball, I decided to buy another one, the exact same ball. I'm still playing with it today and I love it. This time however, I have written my intials ALL OVER THE BALL with a sharpie. Obnoxious, yes, but I hate it when people steal my stuff.
One of the best, if not the best August 30, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Been playing for almost 20 years (yikes) and year in and year out this ball is the still the best indoor ball out there. Great touch and feel. It is a bit hard when brand spank'n new - they do need to be broken in - but it's rather quick (couple of games?) and after that it's fantastic.
the best indoor ball made June 16, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful

One of the best volleyballs out there! May 24, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I'm so glad I was able to strike such a good deal on Amazon with this high quality volleyball.
The finest volleyball I've ever played with March 10, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Some A-players call this a 'creampuff', but I haven't found another volleyball that feels any better than this one. Other balls (esp. Molten) feel like lead sinkers. I can't stand those things. The SV-5W Gold however has the right combination of weight and feel for both setting and hitting that it makes for great indoor play. Some people complain that before they've been broken in that they can feel a tad harsh at first, but that goes away quite quickly. I think that there is some sacrifice of longevity for the supple feel that this ball offers, so avoid banging it against walls etc. for warm-up.
