Extremely accurate + easy to use December 24, 2008 I not only purchased one for myself but immediately bought 4 others for holiday/other gifts. It worked that good and that accurate. And I'm someone who tends to pack light en route on a trip and collect a bunch of stuff for the trip home.
On a trip to visit my folks -- when I had too much stuff and had to pack what I thought was a very heavy carry-on jammed-packed -- the at-home Balanzza weight reading was within a 1/2-pound (or less) of the airline's airport scale. Probably less than 1/2-pound (I didn't really pay that much attention after weighing my luggage at home because I was around 30 lbs and way beneath the airlines' 50-lb threshhold). And in generally I also attest to this scale being very easy to use -- appropaite for folks of all ages and technical aptitudes.
didn't work December 21, 2008 was so excited to try this out, but it was poorly calibrated and even after following the instructions wouldn't calibrate properly. useless waste of money.
great little gadget December 16, 2008 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
Went to Hawaii and with the new restrictions and added fees for checked on baggage, didn't want to exceed the weight restriction only to pay more fees. This was right on with the weight, give or take one pound. It is compact, yet durable. It was affordable especially when saving me money in overage fees. I like that you can lift and it will beep and you can put your luggage or golf bags down, it will hold the weight so you can look while luggage is on the ground and not have to crane your neck to see the weight. Easily resets for more. Easy on and off, run by batteries. Loved it and would highly recommend!
Luggage scale December 12, 2008 Every traveler needs a luggage scale. The airlines are very strict with luggage weight limits. This product does the job.
BEWARE --- Balanzza a BUST! December 6, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Bought a Balanzza Luggage Scale directly from Balanzza's web site. Only some of the numbers showed up on the digital read out. Tried to return it per their "warranty". There is NO RESPONSE from Balanzza by MAIL, EMAIL or TELEPHONE. BEWARE! BEWARE! BEWARE!
